Each Building Permit is often unique with what is required, however, the main core items do not change with any Building Permit application. ARCHITECTURAL now have company policy where we make certain additional documentation or steps manditory. This is due to past knowlege and experience with how to make a project more efficient and more profitable.
The simple fact is if you provide a Building Surveryor with more proffesionally documented applications it will be much faster. As a minimum, for a Building Permit application, you will require the following:
- Soil Test
- Engineeing
- Drainage Plan
- Working Drawings
- Planning Certificate (or Town Planning Permit)
- Property Information
- Legal Point of Discharge
- Sewer / Easement Details
- Warranty Insurance
- Builders Registration details
Many applications will need additional information depending on the site constraints and what the project involves. These may include; build over easement applications, protection works notices, dual engineering certification etc etc.
